KSU–TENGO Delegation Visits University of Lisbon
Official Visit of KSU and TENGO to the University of Lisbon
Within the scope of the European Union–funded Resilient Responders Project, a formal visit was carried out to the University of Lisbon in collaboration with our project partner, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (KSU).
The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Alptekin Yasım, Rector of KSU, and included Prof. Dr. Orhan Doğan, Vice-Rector and Project Coordinator; Dr. Stefan Rathert, Project Manager at KSU; and Dr. Zeynep Elçin Kamalak, Project Coordinator representing TENGO.
The meeting was hosted by Prof. Dr. João Peixoto and Prof. Dr. Maria José Chambel, Vice-Rectors of the University of Lisbon, with the participation of Ms. Sofia Nunes from our Portuguese project partner ANIMAM. The discussions proceeded in a constructive and highly collaborative atmosphere.
During the ninety-minute meeting:
- Ongoing and potential joint projects were reviewed,
- Opportunities for academic and research-based collaboration were discussed,
- The current progress and future steps of the Resilient Responders Project were evaluated.
All parties expressed a mutual commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation and further advancing academic collaboration.
As TENGO, we believe that this visit represents a significant contribution to the international cooperation strategy, scientific engagement capacity, and project development vision of both our institution and our partner university.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the University of Lisbon for their kind hospitality and to our project partner ANIMAM for their valuable participation.
