CAMRAS Project Workshop Event

Within the scope of the Erasmus+ Program VET program” Increase the Capacity of Migrant and Refugees in Agriculture Sector (CAMRAS) KA220-VET-000089931 Project which is carried out under the leadership of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University .

The Workshop of CAMRAS Project was organized on 14 September 2023 under the coordination of Kahramanmaras Sütçü Imam University (KSU), support of Trend Education NGO (TENGO) and Kahramanmaraş Agriculture and Provincial Directorate. Many local organizations’ representatives participated to the workshop such as Milk Producers, Sheep and Goat Union, Chamber of Agriculture Union, Immigration Administration and relevant stakeholders on agriculture and farming

The aims of workshop were to identify needs of the agriculture sector, migrants and refugees, to determine the characteristics of qualified workforce in the sector, to develop local organizations, NGOs, and SMEs cooperation with Migrant/ refugees .

During the workshop, the aims, objectives and activities of the CAMRAS Project were emphasized. In order to identify the main problems and challenges regarding agriculture sector, ideas and expectations were discussed on agricultural sector. End of the workshop, meeting notes were shared with all participants. The Lead organization KSU gave the participation of certificate to the all organizations’ representatives .
