CAMRAS 3rd Transnational Meeting

Increase The Capacity of Migrant and Refugees in Agriculture Sector-CAMRAS’ coordinated by Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University and Trend Education NGO (TENGO) within the scope of Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships Vocational Education Program (KA220-VET-000089931), the 3rd transnational meeting of the project was held in Huelva, Spain on April 16-18

The project meeting was hosted by Spain partner IDSL with the participation of Greece, Netherlands, France partners and local partners Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (KSU), Trend Education Association (TENGO) and Kahramanmaraş Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.

During the meeting, training materials were presented with partners. The materials were revised in line with the recomendations of the participants. Participants were informed about the online training platform. In addition, decisions were taken on the effective management, dissemination plan and sustainability of the project.

Main Objectives to be Achieved in the Camras Project

  • To increase the knowledge, skills and capacities of migrants and refugees working or willing to work in the agricultural sector in agricultural          production,
  • To determine the characteristics of the qualified labor force in the agricultural sector,
  • To build the capacity and competencies of trainers through training of trainers,
  • To establish an e-platform providing online training and ensure visibility,
  • To enable employers and job seekers to meet on the platform database,
  • To provide online trainings to increase the agricultural production capacities of Migrants and Refugees,
  • to ensure that M/Rs contribute to the agricultural and economic development of host countries.

Our city is in Public-NGO and University Cooperation

In the declaration made by Tengo project experts, it was stated that new projects will continue to be implemented with local, national and international organizations (Public-NGO and University) and will continue to cooperations in many fields.
